In 2007 UNICEF moved significantly beyond its conventional partners to explore new possibilities with international NGOs and other not for profit specialist groups. To this end, a network of partners in specific areas of work relating to different dimensions has been developed. They all have the requisite expertise and experience for this programme.
Education Clusters in Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uganda is evidence of UNICEF expanding partnership. UNICEF has linked up with Global Alliances and Networks such as the Forum for Education NGOs in Uganda (FENU) to launch the Back-to-School Campaign.
